F. Anthony McLeod
MD, FACS
Dr. Tony McLeod is board certified in both otolaryngology and sleep medicine, and has been in private practice in Alexander City, Alabama since 1996; with office locations in Alexander City, Sylacauga, and Talladega, Alabama. He is on the medical staff at Russell Medical Center (Alexander City, AL), at Coosa Valley Medical Center (Sylacauga, AL), and at Citizens Baptist Medical Center (Talladega, AL). He is the medical director of the Sleep Labs at Russell Medical Center, Coosa Valley Medical Center, Citizens Baptist Medical Center, Advanced Cardiovascular Sleep Center (Auburn, AL), and Clay County Hospital (Ashland, AL).Dr. McLeod is a native of Lineville, Alabama. He completed his undergraduate degree at Auburn University, and he completed his medical degree at University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Medicine. He graduated in the top 15% and clinical average top 5% at UAB. Dr. McLeod completed his residency at UAB and served as Chief Resident in the Division of Otolaryngology, Dept. of Surgery. He is board certified in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology, and board certified in Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a Fellow of the American Rhinologic Society and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He is a member of several medical societies and has presented numerous community education seminars and screenings.Dr. McLeod enjoys both the office based clinical practice of otolaryngology as well as surgical practice. Seeing patients of all ages and providing care to whole families is especially rewarding. His practice includes all areas of adult and pediatric ENT with special interests in sleep disorders, allergy and immunotherapy, endoscopic sinus surgery, balloon sinuplasty, and thyroid surgery.Personal interests include hunting, fishing, playing golf, and of course cheering on those Auburn Tigers (War Eagle!). He is married to Jenn McLeod, PhD, CRNP, who is a nurse practitioner in our practice at SHNS, with three children.
Wesley Pinto
MMS, PA-C
Wesley Pinto joined Southern Head & Neck Surgery in September 2011 as a board certified physician assistant. He visits with patients in the Alexander City, Sylacauga, and Talladega office locations. He is also credentialed at Russell Medical Center, Coosa Valley Medical Center, and Citizens Baptist Medical Center.Wesley Pinto joined Southern Head & Neck Surgery in September 2011 as a board certified physician assistant. He is also credentialed at Russell Medical Center, Coosa Valley Medical Center, and Citizens Baptist Medical Center.Wesley is native to Fairfield, Alabama, and graduated from the University of West Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology Comprehensive.  He received a football scholarship and was a member of the Tri Beta and Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Societies at UWA.  He received his Master of Medical Science Degree in Physician Assistant studies at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN. During his clinical year at LMU, Wesley completed several rotations including general surgery at Norwalk Hospital with the Yale PA Surgical Residency Program in Norwalk, CT.  He received the Professionalism Award for the LMU PA Class of 2011. Wesley Pinto, MMS, PA-C is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).  In addition, he is licensed and registered with the State of Alabama.Wesley enjoys the office based clinical practice of otolaryngology, which includes all areas of adult and pediatric ENT.  His interests include pre- and post-op care, performing diagnostic procedures, and patient education.Wesley is married to his wife Shannon, has a son named James, and enjoys sports and spending time with his family

Jenn McLeod joined Southern Head & Neck Surgery in August 2014 as a board certified Nurse Practitioner. She has appointments available in the Alexander City, Sylacauga, and Talladega office locations. She holds staff appointments at Russell Medical Center, Coosa Valley Medical Center, and Citizens Baptist Medical Center.Jenn McLeod joined Southern Head & Neck Surgery in August 2014 as a board certified Nurse Practitioner. She holds staff appointments at Russell Medical Center, Coosa Valley Medical Center, and Citizens Baptist Medical Center.Jenn is a native of Birmingham, AL and graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing with a Bachelor degree in the Science of Nursing in 1995. Following a professional career in clinic and nursing she returned to UAB, completeing her doctorate in the Science of Nursing in 2011. After teaching at Auburn University School of Nursing she returned to school to obtain her Nurse Practitioner license in 2014. She is Board certified in both Nationally accredited licensing agencies, the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honour Society of Nursing and the Golden Key International Honour Society.Dr. Jenn enjoys being involved in the clinical care of patients and their familes. Her clinical practive spans ear, nose, and throat disorders, sleep medicine, allergies, and skin disorders.Dr. Jenn is married to Dr. McLeod and they have three daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, fishing, exercising, and volunteer work.
Lori G. McCollum
MCD, CCC-A
Lori McCollum joined Southern Head & Neck Surgery in 1998 as a certified audiologist. She is a native of Alexander City, AL, and earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication disorders, audiology, at Auburn University. Lori completed an internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN, and worked at Tuscaloosa ENT in Tuscaloosa, AL, prior to joining Southern Head & Neck Surgery.Lori McCollum joined Southern Head & Neck Surgery in 1998 as a certified audiologist. She is a native of Alexander City, AL, and earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication disorders, audiology, at Auburn University. Lori completed an internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN, and worked at Tuscaloosa ENT in Tuscaloosa, AL, prior to joining Southern Head & Neck Surgery. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (national certification), and is licensed to practice audiology by the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Over the years, Lori has gained real-world knowledge and experience working with hearing disorders in both adults and children. She has special interest in hearing aids and amplification devices for adults, and also evaluation and treatment of dizziness and balance disorders. She regularly attends continuing education seminars.Lori is married with one daughter, and in addition to loving family time at home, enjoys being active at church and being outdoors.
